How do you remove the marketing text?
|
|
Thread Status:

When using your software, it is appending the following at the end of the page:
<br /><br /><div align="center">Split testing on this page was carried out with <a href="http://www.l-space-design.com/" target="_blank">Conversion Booster.NET</a> from L-Space Design Limited.</div><br />
Since we paid for the software, we don't feel that we should have to be forced to see this.
I need to know ASAP how to get rid of this.
Thank you,
Scott

When you purchased you were sent an email requesting your server IP address in order to generate your license key.
If you did not receive the email, it was probably blocked by a filter somewhere along the way which may make it difficult to get the license key to you.
If you goto: http://www.l-space-design.com/KeyRequest.aspx?prodID=ConversionBooster
and supply the server IP address, along with a contact email, and your invoice number, I'll send one out immediately I receive it.
My apologies for the inconvenience.
Roger

Hi Scott.
This is to let you know that I recieved your email and have sent you your license key.
Please let me know if you have not received it in the next couple of hours and I will see if there is an alternative way of sending it to you.

I replied to you via email, but have not gotten a response. This is very important to get handled ASAP:
I received it, but after putting it in my web.config, I
still see the advertisement at the bottom of the page.
I am assuming the web.config change should read:
<license> <ipaddress>66.45.xx.xx</ipaddress> <keycode>EKKY-xxxx-xxxx</keycode> </license>

Hi Scott.
I did reply to your email, so it must be getting blocked somewhere.
Can you please send me the section surrounding the <license> tags as well.
And although you have probably already checked, could you verify that the site is bound to that IP address in IIS.
When I have a response, I will post it here since email seems to be a problem.

You asked for the "server ip address", which is different than the ip address of the website. The ip address of the website is 66.XX.XX.214.
Thanks.

Thanks for that.
I've sent the correct key by email, pleae let me know if you don't receive it shortly.
I'll amend my notes to be more specific, I've been using 'server IP address' because I've been given the public IP address for sites that are behind NAT firewall, and had the exact same issue as this.
Looks like it might be time to write up a full page description I can point people to.
